The Cape of Good Hope SPCA is calling on members of the public to come forward with information pertaining to a man who exploits animals by begging with them and selling them in public spaces.

According to the organisation, they have received numerous complaints about the perpetrator, who is seen with different animals on a weekly basis.
The organisation also listed that, begging with animals and selling animals in a public space is unlawful in terms of the Animal Keeping By Law.
“This man is aggressive and should not be approached,” cautions Chief Inspector Jaco Pieterse. “Charges of animal cruelty, obstruction and contraventions of the Animal Keeping By Law have already been laid against him, yet he continues.”
