The Springboks are set to light up South Africa’s rugby fields once again, with a highly anticipated match in Cape Town headlining their 2025 home fixtures, Cape {town} Etc reports.
The defending champions will face Australia at DHL Stadium on 23 August 2025, as part of the prestigious Castle Lager Rugby Championship.
Coach Rassie Erasmus and his team will also meet the Wallabies a week earlier at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg, before the action shifts to the vibrant streets of Cape Town.
This marks an exciting chapter for the Springboks, who clinched the 2024 Rugby Championship title with a dramatic win against New Zealand at the same venue, a victory that solidified their dominance in the sport.
The Cape Town clash promises to be a thrilling contest, with anticipation building after a hard-fought rivalry with the All Blacks in 2024. In 2025, fans can look forward to several other electrifying home fixtures, as the Springboks face off against Italy, Georgia, and Argentina across South Africa.
