The Proteas cricket team claimed victory over Australia during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today, winning 135/2 by eight wickets and having 16 balls left, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Laura Wolvaardt, captain of the Proteas, won the toss and decided that South Africa should bowl first.
Coming off from the Proteas’ victory, Anneke Bosch was deemed the player of the match.
The West Indies and New Zealand will go against each other in tomorrow’s semi-final match, where the winner will face off against South Africa during the finals on Sunday, 20 October at 4pm, for the title of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 winners.
