The Springboks are making the country proud at the 2020 Rugby World Cup in Japan, beating Canada and advancing to the quarter-finals of the popular sports competition.

The team went from strength to strength in the rugby match in Kobe, Japan on October 8, raking up an impressive seven first-half tries to give them a 47-0 score by half-time. Cobus Reinach scored the earliest hat-trick in a Rugby World Cup match, beating Chris Latham’s 2003 record.

The Springbok team scored a 66-7 victory over Canada in their final Pool B match. The team is now through to the quarter-finals which will kick off on Saturday, October 19. Fixtures are not announced yet.
