Eskom has announced that due to the return of generating units at Kriel, Majuba and Matimba power stations, stage 5 loadshedding will not be implemented today as previously communicated. Stage 4, however, will continue until further notice.

On Monday afternoon, Eskom announced that following the failure of five generating units, loadshedding would be ramped up to stage 5.
The power utility has now announced that due to the return of generating units at Kriel, Majuba and Matimba power stations, stage 5 loadshedding has been suspended.
Stage 4 loadshedding will continue until further notice.
