In association with Smile 90.4 FM, Killarney International Raceway is hosting the StreetFest event on 28 December 2024, celebrating Cape Town’s streetcar culture, reports Cape {town} Etc.
StreetFest is unique to Cape Town, where car culture comes alive days after Christmas.
While show ‘n shine displays, drag racing and sound-off events happen worldwide, only Cape Town brings them all together in one celebration.
After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, StreetFest 2022 was unforgettable, with thousands filling the stands and pits to see Cape Town’s most stunning custom cars and bakkies.
As we gear up for this year’s StreetFest, excitement is building for another epic celebration of car culture, showcasing even more extreme modifications and innovative designs that continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible on the streets.
The event is a family festival with kiddies’ play areas, ice-cold beverages, and delicious food (including halaal).
