World-renowned strongman and former special forces soldier Franz Müllner, affectionately dubbed the Iron Man, made headlines on Wednesday as he pulled one of City Sightseeing Cape Town’s iconic red double-decker buses during the remarkable Long March to Freedom event in Century City.
This astonishing feat not only underscored Müllner’s phenomenal physical prowess but also marked a significant milestone in his quest to set seven world records across seven continents, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Weighing in at a staggering 16,700 kg, the bus served as the perfect backdrop for this awe-inspiring display of strength. The event marked an impressive achievement for Müllner, as he officially celebrated his 60th world record making him the sportsman with the most records on the planet.

Müllner’s ambitious journey commenced in South America, specifically in Peru, where he set the stage for his extraordinary challenges.
He then continued his quest in Europe, stopping in Holland before heading to North America and later reaching Australia as his fourth destination.
His fifth continent Asia was represented by Turkey, where he has astoundingly excelled in challenging feats, including pulling the heaviest truck with a helicopter landing on it and achieving the highest tracking weight while moving a ship.
The 60th world record not only serves as a testament to Müller’s formidable strength but also reflects his unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries across diverse environments.
A former Jagdkommando soldier with the Austrian Special Operations Forces, Müller credits his rigour and mental discipline instilled during military training for his extraordinary accomplishments.
