Innocent Zungu, also known as ‘Super Sandman’, confirmed on Facebook that he is not missing. The sand-sculptor is well known for his works of art on Muizenberg beach.
Fans of the sculptor shared posts on Facebook asking for people with information to come forward. It was alleged that he was last seen on September, 26. His Facebook page had been deleted and many were concerned for this safety.
On October 9, the Facebook page was up and running again and he explained that he is unharmed and trying to make his way back to Cape Town.
In a series of posts, Zungu explained what happened to him and thanked the public for their concern.
