South African retailer Takealot will commence its annual Black Friday sale on 29 November, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Takealot has announced the return of its Black Friday countdown, featuring incredible deals and discounts under the Blue Dot sale.
The Blue Dot Countdown spans four weeks of epic deals leading up to Black Friday.
Starting 1 November, week one will feature discounts on large appliances, TVs, furniture and beauty products.
Week two will offer deals on power tools, books, laptops and garden essentials. In week three, camping gear, smart home technology and household essentials will be discounted.
After the countdown and Blue Dot weekend, more deals will follow, including Cyber Monday and Takealot Tuesday.
Subscribers to Takealot’s subscription service, launched in May 2024, will have access to exclusive deals.
The service includes free fast delivery, with the standard plan priced at R39 per month and the premium plan at R99 per month, offering additional perks like free weekend and next-day delivery. First-time users can also enjoy a free 1-month trial.
‘Don’t miss out on the biggest shopping event of the year,’ urges the retailer.
