The police have launched an investigation after two women, ages 46 and 54, as well as a 13-year-old boy, were found dead in a house in the Cape Town suburb of Bishop Lavis on Wednesday morning.

According to SAPS, the murder took place in a house in Nooitgedacht, Bishop Lavis, just before 6am on Wednesday, 14 December.
As reported by News24, Western Cape police spokesperson, Colonel André Traut, said it was yet to be determined how the victims were murdered.
“According to reports, all three victims sustained fatal head injuries, and it is yet to be determined if they were shot or assaulted,” he said.
Colonel Traut stated that the motive for the attack is yet to be determined.
Graham Lindhorst of the Bishop Lavis Community Police Forum (CPF) said that the police were looking into many possible motives, including housebreaking.
