Police have recovered the body of a 17-year-old teen who went missing on Saturday at Victoria Bay near George, Cape {town} Etc reports.

According to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) – Victoria Bay, the teenager went missing alongside a 20-year-old man while swimming on Saturday around 5:55pm at Victoria Bay.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) had activated NSRI Wilderness duty crew following reports of two swimmers in distress, caught in rip currents.
George Fire and Rescue services and WC Government Health EMS rescue squad also responded.
‘Multiple calls were by that stage being received by eyewitnesses reporting the drowning in progress,’ the NSRI said in a statement.
‘On arrival on the scene, we found eyewitnesses indicating where two swimmers had disappeared in the surf zone after being swept out to sea by rip currents. An extensive sea and shoreline search revealed no sign of the missing two.’
NSRI rescue swimmers also conducted free dive search efforts in the surf zone.
The search efforts continued on Sunday, 1 September, comprising NSRI Wilderness rescue craft, NSRI rescue swimmers, deployed to free dive search, George Fire and Rescue Services, the SA Police Services and WC Government Health EMS rescue squad, assisting Police (WPDS) Water Policing and Diving Services.
A George Fire and Rescue Services drone was also used.
On Tuesday, 3 September, WPDS recovered the body of the 17-year-old teenager at Victoria Bay. His body was taken into the care of Government Health Forensic Pathology Services.
SAPS WPDS are continuing an ongoing search operation for the 20-year-old man.
