Telkom customers have been complaining across the country as the service provider is reportedly down. According to online down network detector, Down Detector, Telkom clients in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban are experiencing problems.
The Down Detector site allows network users to rate their respective networks, and Telkom has a low average of two out of five stars.
Customers have been inundating the service provider with complaints of the network being down via social media. They have been reassured that all lines will be up and running as soon as possible. How long this will take, however, has not yet been stipulated.
“My phone has no network coverage for the past two days,” a Telkom customer said via Facebook.
