According to SANParks – Table Mountain National Park, the bees pose a potential risk to both human visitors and the critically endangered African Penguins that inhabit the region.
In a statement issued earlier today (Tuesday morning), park officials urged those planning to visit the boardwalk during this time to stay clear of the area and consider alternative routes to access the beach or exit after their visit.
