Much like the Mother City’s weather mood swings, the country will chop and change between loadshedding stages again this week.
Eskom has just announced that stage 4 will continue to be implemented until 4pm on Monday, thereafter stage 5 loadshedding will be implemented until 5am on Tuesday morning.
Loadshedding will then be reduced to stage 3 at 5am until 4pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by stage 4 between 4pm and 5am.
Eskom will publish another update as soon as any significant changes occur.

City of Cape Town customers will also be experiencing a slight switching (excuse the pun) between stages.
- Monday: Stage 3 will be implemented from 5am to 4pm and stage 5 from 4pm until 5am the following day.
- Tuesday and Wednesday: Stage 2 between 5am and 4pm followed by stage 4 until 5am the next day.
