Theo of Theo’s Hairdresser has announced the beloved Three Anchor Bay hair shop will be closing after 41 years of service to the area.

“We have recently been given notice to vacate the premises. I would like to thank each and every one who has made my time here so memorable and who has loyally supported me throughout the years. My gratitude to you is without bounds. On behalf of myself and my staff (Michelle & Margaret) I thank you for your patronage and friendship. Thank you for welcoming me into the Sea Point community – it has been a true honour,” Theo said in a statement.

While the famous barbershop and hair salon will be closed, Theo will still be working from his Milnerton home on a part-time basis as soon as he is able to legally operate again.

“We are unfortunately prohibited to work under current COVID-19 Level 4 restrictions. Please note that I will be working by appointment only and will only be able to assist gents. Apologies to our valued ladies clientele,” Theo said. “I look forward to seeing your familiar faces again soon. Until then, may you stay safe and healthy. If you would like to be in touch, my contact numbers remain unchanged.”
