Motorists are advised to expect delays coming along Main and Boyes Drive as Kalk Bay Main Road has been closed at Clairvaux Road, reports Cape {town} Etc.
The road closure comes as a result of a police incident, which took place on Wednesday afternoon.
According to social media reports, four or five unknown males ambushed a metro police officer near Woolley’s Tidal Pool. The road has subsequently been closed in an effort to apprehend the perpetrators, one of whom has already been caught.
Motorists are requested to make use of alternative routes.
