Update 12am:
The train that derailed at Dal Josafat station was en route to the Cape Town – Wellington station, according to a press release issued by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA).
No fatalities have been recorded, and 25 passengers were injured. Passengers who required medical assistance were transported to various hospitals.

A passenger train derailed at Dal Josafat station in Paarl, with the Drakenstein Farm Watch (DFW) having received a request for assistance at 6:41pm, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Multiple services have responded on DFW emergency groups and dispatched resources, according to a Facebook post made by DFW.

Reports have allegedly indicated that 30 individuals have been injured while multiple are entrapped.
Emergency responders are on site.
