Detectives attached to the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit are currently investigating a triple murder that claimed the lives of two females and one male in Khayelitsha on Sunday night, 27 October, Cape {town} Etc reports.

At around 8:20pm, the SAPS responded to a murder complaint and discovered the body of a male (26) in a passage in Island Site C, Khayelitsha, with a gunshot wound.
The bodies of two females, both in their twenties and with gunshot wounds, were discovered in a shack not far from the crime scene of the male victim.
The motive for the murders are yet to be determined, according to a press statement issued by the SAPS.
