Western Cape police are investigating two similar murders at Browns Farm, Philippi, Cape Town, on Tuesday evening, Cape {town} Etc reports.

According to SAPS spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, Nyanga police were investigating a murder at 5:30pm on Siphingo Street in Browns Farm.
‘An unidentified male was shot and fatally wounded,’ he said.
According to Van Wyk, police responded after the gunshot and discovered a crowd gathered near the road.
‘The unidentified male was lying on the road, wearing a green T-shirt, green trunk pants, and dark sneakers,’ Van Wyk added.
He stated the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
Later that evening, an unidentified woman was discovered dead from gunshot wounds on Sikhwenene Street in Browns Farm.
Van Wyk stated that the woman was shot dead at 8pm on Tuesday.
‘She was found laying on the road with two gunshot wounds to the neck,’ Van Wyk explained.
Medical workers at the site declared the woman deceased.
Van Wyk stated that the motive for both incidents is being investigated.
