It would seem that Uber are making some serious waves in the city. I personally love using the service and see their business model as a step forward in the right direction, but the local taxi industry is up in arms over Uber’s alleged ‘inadequate operating licences’. There are a horde of activities happening in Cape Town and surrounds this weekend. I highly doubt that the rain forecast for tomorrow will be putting a dampener on any of them. From the J&B Met to Origin Festival to Up The Creek, there will be a little something for everybody. But first, we will be at Assembly tonight for Shadowclub.
Have a terrific weekend!
