The mother of three South Africa children, who were found dead in their new Timaru home after recently emigrating to New Zealand has been arrested.
According to News24, 40-year-old Lauren Dickason has reportedly been charged with murder and is expected to appear in the Timaru District Court on Saturday morning.
The three-year-old twin girls, Maya and Karla Dickason, along with their six-year-old sister, Liane, were found by their father Graham, a doctor from Pretoria, as New Zealand publication Stuff reports.

Graham and his wife Lauren, who is also a doctor, and their children moved to New Zealand last month and had been in Timaru for just a week after coming out of New Zealand’s strict managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ).
Although the cause of death has not yet been determined, the New Zealand Herald reported further that the children’s mother was taken into custody as she has been identified as a suspect.
A police statement said: “The investigation into this tragedy is still in its very early stages, but we can confirm that nobody else is being sought in relation to the deaths of the three children.
“Police are still working to notify all next of kin, and for that reason – and to protect the privacy of those impacted by this tragedy,” the statement read.
