It is requested that anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area please check the systems since it’s possible that the location was being cased days before. If anyone saw anything strange around the corner of Weltevreden Road and Varkensvlei, “between the fruit stall and where they crush the stones”, it’s requested to please report the information to the police. It could potentially help track down the second car.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
