Cape Town police have now arrested three suspects following a mass shooting incident in Mandalay on Saturday, October 16. The arrest comes after SAPS implemented a 72-hour Activation Plan to bring to book those responsible.
According to IOL, the suspects aged 22, 35 and 38 who are all from the Mitchells Plain area were arrested when Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) detectives were conducting a tracing operation on Sunday. Western Cape police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut says the suspects are expected to make their first court appearances in Mitchells Plain on charges of murder and attempted murder.
