The United States has revoked the visas of six foreign nationals who made social media posts mocking or celebrating the assassination of right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk, the State Department announced on Tuesday, Cape {town} Etc reports.
The Donald Trump administration says his decision underscores the government’s commitment to protecting American values and its intolerance for any expressions that celebrate violence against its citizens.
The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans.
The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk. Here are just a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in the U.S.:

‘The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans,’ the department said in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter).
‘The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk.’
In a follow-up thread, the department listed six examples of individuals citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Paraguay, and South Africa whose visas had been cancelled.
A South African national mocked Americans grieving the loss of Kirk, saying “they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom” and alleging “he was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash.”

While no names were officially released, screenshots included in the thread made it possible to identify at least two of the individuals, one of whom had already been targeted by online harassment from conservative users.

The post concluded with a declaration that President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio ‘will defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens by enforcing our immigration laws. Aliens who take advantage of America’s hospitality while celebrating the assassination of our citizens will be removed.’
The move forms part of the administration’s broader crackdown on foreign nationals accused of anti-American activity. In recent months, the government has intensified efforts to identify and potentially expel thousands of international students it claims took part in protests against Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
It has also tightened visa screening procedures, requiring applicants to make their social media accounts publicly accessible before entering the United States.
