Convicted racist Vicki Momberg has been apprehended after several months of being on the run.
Speaking to Netwerk24, South African Police Services (SAPS) spokesperson, Brigadier Mathapelo Peters confirmed that Momberg turned herself in to the Douglasdale police station in Johannesburg.
Momberg will be transported to the Randburg Magistrate’s Court where the last processes of the warrant for her arrest will be handled and concluded. This comes after she violated a court ruling that stipulated a court date for her to attend, for which she never pitched.
Momberg’s friend confirmed they had travelled all the way from Durban for her to hand herself in.
Authorities have been searching for Momberg since August 1.
