In a TikTok video by user @nandom7441, a traffic cop is seen dashing across a busy Cape Town road, as vehicles slow down with their hazard lights flashing, adding to the chaotic scene.

A taxi driver attempted to outrun the traffic cops, but one determined officer was not about to let him slip away.
In the video, the officer is seen sprinting after the driver, who makes a desperate move to dodge the left in hopes of losing his pursuer. The tactic fails, and the officer swiftly apprehends him.
For the officer, it was just another day on the job, but watching the driver make a break for it left viewers wondering – where did he think he was going to escape to?
