A dam wall in Philadelphia burst yesterday, causing traffic to be redirected after the road was flooded, Cape {town} Etc reports.

In a post shared on Facebook by Emma King, it can be seen that traffic on the road was brought to a standstill as water flowed over the road.
Reports indicated that the dam wall was located at Atlantic Fertilisers, between Klipheuwel and Philadelphia, before the bridge.
It is still unknown what caused the dam wall to burst.
