A dramatic and unsettling video has emerged from St Helena Bay, located at Sandy Point Beach Estate on the West Coast, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Filmed yesterday by a beachgoer using a drone, the footage shows a deceased whale drifting in the ocean, starkly visible against the serene coastline.
The whale is seen floating belly-up amidst the gentle ocean currents. Surrounding the whale is a red liquid that, upon closer inspection, appears to be blood.
The whale was last observed yesterday as it continued to drift farther out to sea.
