An interesting video has been circulating on social media platforms, causing both intrigue and confusion, Cape {town} Etc reports.
In the video, locals are seen trying to drive a truck across the pedestrian overpass on the R300.
The footage was captured by individuals passing by on the R300 towards the Old Stellenbosch Arterial.
Facebook users were amused by the attempt of the drivers and commented, ‘trying to save petrol guys’ and ‘you’re not a Golfie bro, South Africa is a movie.’
Other users, however, were less impressed by the ordeal, commenting, ‘If this wasn’t so serious, it would actually be funny. This is an absolute disgrace and abuse of state property. No respect.’
