David Scott, AKA The Kiffness, has made a name for himself in the heart of the pandemic by using the sounds of felines and creating songs with them. Needless to say, people around the world have loved it!
When Scott first released the Cat Jams EP in August, he promised to give back 50% of the streaming revenue to his local SPCA, and thanks to many of his fans, Kiffness managed to raise over R100 000.
“When I first released the Cat Jams EP back in August, I made a promise to give back 50% of the streaming revenue to my local SPCA. Today I’m happy to announce that we’ve been able to raise over R100,000 ($7000) for my local SPCA, and I will continue to do give back 50% with the release of the Cat Jams Deluxe EP”, said Scott.
Scott thought that after his first EP he would give the cat songs a break, but fans kept sending him more and more amazing videos of cats making cool, yet hilarious noises.
“I thought that after the first EP I’d give cat songs a break, but people kept sending me amazing videos of cats making cool noises, so I felt like I had no choice but to keep making them. So I hope you enjoy the Cat Jams Deluxe EP featuring Alugalug Cat, Alugalug Cat 2.0, Big Billy, Numnum Cat, Oh Long Johnson & Mumble Cat, and know that with every stream you’re making a small difference in the life of an animal in need,” Scott concluded.
