It looks like KFC has found the perfect way to keep you hungry for more – by making sure you’re always on your feet!
In a viral TikTok video, comedian John Koopman pokes fun at KFC’s interesting new seating set-up.
John demonstrates the awkward challenge of attempting to sit on the raised, slanted seat, which is supposedly meant for leaning.

‘They want you to stay but not for too long,’ quipped a TikTok user in the comments.
‘It’s there for you to stand on business’ and ‘that table is only big enough for a R30 meal’ commented other users.
The comment section of the TikTok was also flooded with answers, as users claimed that the seats seen in the video are known as ‘leaning chairs’ which are to be used while waiting for one’s meal.
In the video below, Christelle van Niekerk, another South African content creator, offered her unique solution to the question on everyone’s mind, that being, ‘how do these seats work?’

Christelle states that many people have been wondering how to navigate these seats and she confidently demonstrates her take on it.
‘Now I just need my pops,’ she chirps, once precariously seated.
