Who should sit in the front seat, the wife or the mother? In a viral video that was posted to X by user @luca_varan, a mother and her daughter-in-law can be seen arguing over who should sit in front, Cape {town} Etc reports.

This started when the mother of the driver refused to sit in the back seat after the wife was already seated in front.
The wife, however, refused to comply, instead also stating that she would not sit in the back seat of the vehicle.
Subsequently, the driver intervened and agreed with the mother that she should sit in the front seat.
Clearly irate, the wife left her seat, instead opting to ride in her own car.
The video has since gained 5.2 million views, 306 comments, 1.6k reposts, 3.8 likes and bookmarked by 1.1k users.
