Stellenbosch police have launched a culpable homicide investigation after a tragic crash claimed the life of a woman on Blaauwklippen Road early Friday morning, Cape {town} Etc reports.
According to Sergeant Wesley Twigg, the collision involved an adult female and an adult male. The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The male sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly and found both victims with serious injuries. The exact cause of the crash remains unclear, with police actively investigating the circumstances.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information to come forward anonymously via Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or through the MySAPS mobile app.
