Have a blast at the annual Festival In The Valley, which takes place at the lush and gorgeous La Paris Estate, just outside the quaint town of Franschhoek.

Over the weekend of 27–29 November 2015, there will be a massive line-up of festivities.

Activities and entertainment

Experience a live performance by the award-winning musician, Kurt Darren on Friday. Then, at the Big Field Summer Concert on Saturday, rock out with aKing, Jimmy Nevis, Matthew Mole and Beatenberg. There are also some daily performances by Gareth James, Jacques Terre’Blanche and Caitlin De Ville to enjoy.

Fire dancers will wow you with their dazzling movements in the evenings, and if you’re in need of some pampering, be sure to visit the pop-up day spa by Eternal Child.

Do some early Christmas shopping at the daily markets or browse around in your own time for a whole range of fashion, accessories and beauty products. For the hungry and thirsty, there will be plenty of artisanal food and beverages on offer, including various food trucks selling their goods, local wine, and craft beer on tap.

Jumping castles, water slides, and an outdoor evening movie will keep the kids entertained. Lollos and Lettie will entertain kids and parents alike with their music and dances. They are known all around South Africa, and their stories and excitement will inspire the little ones.
