Our President Cyril Ramaphosa is setting the right example. Don’t let work (like running a country) get in the way of your morning walk. After only three weeks in the job, Ramaphosa has proven to be more than just a regular type of president. His morning walks are quickly becoming customary, and thousands of South Africans have been inspired to get out of bed early to join him.

South Africans have another chance to join the president on a morning walk, from Lookout Hill in Khayelitsha to Rocklands Civic Centre in Mitchell’s Plain tomorrow, Wednesday 7 March, starting at 5am.

If you fancy a run with Mr President, you might just be lucky enough to snap a few selfies with him. He loooooves the selfies. He may just be South Africa’s first selfie president.

How many of you can say you ran with the President ? Here’s your opportunity.

If you are going to the walk, post some cool pictures and tag @CapeTownEtc, we’d love to share it.
