According to Seeff Properties’ website, one of the highest selling properties for comfort and security was an R160m property on Nettleton Road in Clifton that has five bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, as well as four parking spots.
It also had an outside garden, a gym, a pool, backup electricity, and double staff quarters, with bond payments of more than R1.7 million per month.

If this is too much for your budget, a two-bedroom house with two bathrooms and one parking space might have been yours for R13 750 000.
It boasts a stunning view of the ocean and was just sold under a solo mandate.
According to BusinessTech, property sales in Clifton totalled approximately R2 billion over the last five years.
Jo Lombard, a luxury sales specialist at Seeff Atlantic Seaboard, told BusinessTech that parking bay pricing influenced prices.
He stated that prices had fluctuated between R44 million and R50 million in the past year, with the highest average price for a parking space being R187 000 per square metre.
According to the website, a 16-square-metre parking bay went for R2.5 million.
