From 3 to 30 November 2025, Bayside’s ’40 Years of Memories, Moments and Meaning’ campaign brings a month of nostalgia, kindness and community fun – all leading up to a lively Birthday Bash Finale on Saturday, 30 November.
40 years of shared stories
For four decades, Bayside Mall has been part of life’s special moments – from first dates and birthday outings to festive shopping trips.
Now, shoppers can take a stroll down Memory Lane by sharing their favourite Bayside memories on social media. Throwback photos and heartfelt stories stand a chance to win weekly prizes sponsored by Spur, Checkers, Home-Tech-Sleep and more.
40 Acts of Kindness
To mark the milestone, Bayside is spreading joy with 40 Acts of Kindness throughout November – simple, feel-good surprises for shoppers, staff and the local community. From free parking and flowers to grocery and coffee giveaways, these gestures celebrate the power of kindness.
Shop, enter and win
Shoppers who spend R40 or more at any Bayside store between 3 and 25 November can enter to win a share of R40 000 in prizes.
Entering is easy:
- Submit your till slip digitally at the Info Desk, or
- Scan the QR code in the North Atrium and complete the form
Every entry brings you closer to winning – and everyone is invited to join in the celebration Birthday Bash Finale.
The Birthday bash finale – 30 November
The month wraps up with Bayside’s Birthday Bash Finale, transforming the North Atrium into a festive, family-friendly celebration.
Expect live entertainment, school choirs, buskers, giveaways, a 360º photobooth, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and even a Mechanical Bull Swing! The event ends with a birthday cake-cutting and the Grand Prize draw – the perfect finale to a month of celebration.
