It’s harvest time and the entire valley has become an exciting hive of activity with tractors brimming with freshly hand-picked grapes and the most wonderful aroma in the air.

Join Durbanville Hills for a personal harvest experience where you will witness the winemaking process from vine to wine.

Every Wednesday and Thursday from February 24 until March 25, the cellar will open its doors from 6.30pm for a sneak-peak behind the harvest scene. After a glass of Durbanville Hills’ sparkling wine, the cellar tour will offer a glimpse into the winemaking process and the enormous team effort it takes to make wine. Taste the fermenting juice directly from the tanks and sample wines, like their winemakers do, from the barrel – these are wines that will only be released in months to come so you will be one of only a handful of people to take part in this exclusive experience!

The tour will conclude with a two-course dinner and a glass of wine at the cellar’s award-winning restaurant, The Tangram.

Cost is R325 per person and since space is limited, bookings require upfront payment. Contact Aidan Samuels on 021 558 1300 or [email protected] for more information! Tickets can be purchased HERE.
