On October 23, KAMERS/MAKERS will open the gates on their first show of 2020, after what has been a brutal year for SA’s artisan Makers. It will also be exactly a year ago, under these same ancient oaks, that thousands stopped shopping to roar our underdog Boks to victory.

Now, as Spring lifts our spirits, SA has again shown the world what we can do together, this time against a far greater foe.

So please join them… to celebrate the rebirth of the Maker economy in the knowledge that each proudly crafted product you buy creates a job, preserves a skill, feeds a family.

A huge thank you to Kamers followers:

With the first three shows of 2020 being cancelled, times became terribly hard for Kamers – and their Makers.

Kamers organisers are deeply grateful for the support for their KM SPACEs concept over the past months. By giving the community of Makers a ‘space’ to earn at least some income during lockdown, SPACE shoppers have literally saved businesses, jobs and livelihoods.

So LET’S CELEBRATE at the first ‘comeback show’ of 2020 – in the stunning surrounds of Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. They will be showcasing over 160 Makers – many of whom will be brand new… so still the coolest stuff you’ve never seen!
