Just 20 minutes outside of Cape Town, Durbanville Hills is known for its cool-climate wines and spectacular views of Table Mountain. Now they’re adding another reason to visit them – every Sunday until March 28, 2021 they’ll be hosting Sundown Sundays at the Olive Grove.

From 3pm till 6pm every Sunday, you can enjoy live music from local artists like Matt Carstens, Aston Wylie, Len Muller and Timothy de Monk while sipping on a glass of your favourite Durbanville Hills wine. If you’re feeling peckish you can order delicious cheese and charcuterie platters and light dinners from the new Olive Grove bistro.

While you’re there, why not explore with a cellar tour or Durbanville Hills tasting experience? Tasting options include a chocolate & wine pairing, cheese & wine pairing, biltong & wine pairing or a Crystal tasting comprised of cellar door exclusives, bubbly, white and red wines.

Durbanville Hills has also recently launched a sparkling Demi Sec called Honeysuckle to tempt sweeter palates; with its zesty fruit flavours it’s the perfect Sunday sundowner.

End your weekend on a high note at Durbanville Hills with mellow beats, a glass of award- winning wine in one hand and a local cheese platter in the other. Booking is suggested, especially if you’d like to fit in a tasting, and can be made by phoning enquiries on 021 558- 1300 or emailing [email protected]

Safety is of the utmost importance and Durbanville Hills has strict sanitising and cleaning protocols in place, temperature screenings on arrival and numbers are limited in order to maintain social distancing.
