Chaos erupted at Mbombela Stadium as pitch invaders stormed the pitch following the Springboks’ triumphant victory over Argentina, Cape {town} Etc reports.

The Springboks clinched their first Rugby Championship title since 2009 with a 48-7 win over Argentina at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
A Tiktok video by user nina_burger_ showed excited fans storming the pitch after the Springboks’ victory over Argentina, dodging security in a chaotic scene.
While most were quickly apprehended, one man managed to outrun five lines of security, sprinting from the northern stands to the southern end.
He was finally stopped when an alleged Pumas player tackled him from behind, leaving him face-down and motionless on the ground.

Despite rumours of serious injury or death, the fan is in good health.
Mpumalanga Health spokesperson Christopher Nobela confirmed he was intoxicated and even asked for his beer after being discharged. He was treated on-site and released without hospitalisation.
