A round-up of our style finds from earlier this week…
CUPPA MILO
Love Milo is a boutique homeware and decor studio inspired by the natural diversity of the African environment. They create beautiful, rustic products ranging from ceramics to wooden crockery to cushions and table runners.
We think Monday’s coffee (and Monday in general) would be so much better if we had this beautiful cappuccino cup and saucer set to go with it.

HIS ‘N’ HERS AT ZANA
CTE.com has some serious love for Zana, a fun and fresh creative brand based in Cape Town. From their studio in Woodstock, they dream up, screen-print, sew and package up a selection of bags, aprons, homeware and generally awesome stuff.
We love their his ‘n’ hers cushion covers (including these, these and definitely these) but the big and little spoons have to be our favourite.
Cost R390 (R460 with cushions inners)

RECLAIMED WREN
We first saw Wren Design at the Cavendish Cares pop-up shop (open until 31 October) and were smitten, not only for its hardy exterior, but because it’s so darn cool.
The story starts with Wendren Setzer who, after tirelessly looking for the ‘right bag’, decided to create her own, reclaiming materials and the fascinating stories that came with them. Her different materials form ranges – from antique linen, to Hessian coffee sacks, to these PPC Cement bags that now serve as stylish laptop bags.

CANDY STRIPES AT MISSIBABA
Established by ‘slow fashion’ devotee Chloe Townsend in 2005, Missibaba is one of Cape Town’s favourite labels, and you’ll find genuine leather bags in a multitude of colours at their boutique at 229 Bree Street.
We love this bag from their Monochrome Collection – who isn’t a fan of candy stripes this time of year? Nude and black striped leather, with a reddish-brown reverse, the bag comes with a skinny detachable strap, and inside you’ll find printed canvas fabric, three card slots and a zipped coin pouch.

HOP OVER TO JOHKE
A good ‘adorability’ litmus test is to see how many of our CTE.com colleagues squeal at my screen while I’m putting up our style posts.
This bunny light by Johke nailed it.
Johke is a Cape Town design company selling unique, playful products, with inspiration drawn from nature and fantasy. Visit their Facebook page to see what else they have up their sleeves, plus some Christmas specials.
