A round-up of this week’s style finds…GOOD-paisley

The sun is certainly rising later, it’s getting darker earlier and I don’t know about you but I feel a definite chill in the air. Autumn is almost here and summer’s days are dwindling. Embrace the changing seasons and kit out your wardrobe with some autumn essentials.
Based in Cape Town, Good Clothing creates fresh, flattering clothing for women of all ages. Founded by Marian Park-Ross in 2007, her clothing line has your comfort and style in mind. Keep the chill at bay with this paisley throw-over. Light enough to pair with a day or evening outfit, but giving your shoulders the right amount of coverage, we think it’s a season winner.

If you’re looking for tiles and wish to relive the classic terracotta look and feel in your home (we’ve seen it on Pinterest, it’s amazing), then we’ve found just the thing.
Shaw Tec was founded in 1960 by Alan Shaw – a talented potter and artist. He started his business on a small holding in Fisantekraal (where it’s still operational today). Shaw Tec has seen some changes over the last 15 years, including the manufacturing of cement tiles to increase the production process. ‘Our vision is to keep our brand relevant, with a consumer looking for handmade products, products made with love, and a passion for design, ceramics, and tiles in general.’
Going back to ceramics, Shaw Tec has recently launched a bespoke ceramic tile range, which is a home’s dream come true. Now based in Durbanville, this bespoke set can be ordered online. I’m particularly fond of this circled flower tile, but there’s a range to choose from to suit any interior.
