Meta plans to fold the Manus AI suite into some subscription offerings and to continue selling Manus to business customers as a separate service, following its reported multi-billion dollar acquisition. Observers say Manus will supply more autonomous agent tools to power premium features.
One feature named Vibes, Meta’s AI short-form video tool, may move to a freemium model so paying users receive more monthly video creation opportunities. An early change like this would mirror other platforms that charge for enhanced creative tools (The Verge).
Meta says it will gather user feedback as the tests roll out in the coming months and has not announced pricing. For now, the company stresses that everyday access will remain free while it experiments with what users value enough to subscribe to.
