We’re in for a taste of winter today, served with a big helping of strong winds, grey skies and afternoon showers.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 21ºC with 99% cloud cover, 70% chance of precipitation and 15% chance of thunderstorms. A strong south-easterly wind will be making its way through the cape at 74kph, gusting at 100kph.
As a considerably cloudy evening rolls in, the strong winds are expected to start gradually subsiding as on-and-off rain continues. Temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 16ºC with wind speeds dropping to 48kph from the same direction, gusting at 96kph and the chance of precipitation and thunderstorms rising to 97% and 28% respectively.
