Join the many Belgian producers and traders showcasing their artisan products and services. Food and drinks will be available; enjoy authentic Belgian beers and their national cuisine—sample traditional Flemish stew, Belgian fries, and cheese croquettes, or dive into some “moules frites.” Satisfy your sweet tooth with some chocolate, fine pastries, and tarts or waffles while you take in the products, designs and displays at the market.

The event is organised by the Belgian Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Lotus Bakeries, Air Belgium and AB InBev. The festival will be held in the large garden of the Belgian House in Newlands Cape Town.
The event offers the perfect day out for the whole family. There’s a play area to keep the kids entertained (supervision on duty) while you enjoy the market offerings–or find a spot in the beautiful garden to relax and enjoy a cold Belgian brew.
- Venue: The Belgian House, 29 Boshof Avenue, Newlands
- Date: 19 November
- Time: Market opens at 10am – 4pm
- Cost: Entrance to the market is free
