A unique classical adaptation of Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland will be showcased at Canal Walk’s Children’s Theatre from 24 June to 16 July – the perfect way to get the whole family excited about theatre.

Witness the incredible work of the award-winning team of Abrahamse and Meyer Productions in a vibrant venue. Lead actress Isabella Jane says Alice in Wonderland is a brilliant story that encourages imagination and adventure. ‘With a high energy and extremely talented cast it’s guaranteed to capture your hearts, they’ve all got mine already. This is one of my favourite stories and I can’t wait to bring Alice to life!’
Isabella Jane trained in contemporary singing with Desi van der Walt and classical and operatic singing with June Krauss. Her theatre credits include Star+Crossed (Bess), Evita (Mistress), Calling us Home, The Jungle Book (Joey), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), The Gingerbreadmen (Miss Pepper), The Sleeping Beauty (Fairy Flora), The Little Mermaid (Ariel), and The Big Bad Musical.
After producing 22 years of quality family theatre at Canal Walk, Abrahamse and Mayer Productions promises another fun-filled, exciting adventure-packed production. ‘As Alice journeys through Wonderland meeting its fantastical inhabitants…(it is) entertainment for the whole family. An amount of R5 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa.
Note that the venue will have snacks and drinks on sale, and no prams or trolleys are allowed in the theatre. A pram and trolley park will be made available.
