The Bo-Kaap stands colourfully as one of the most eye-catching splashes of Cape Town.
With brightly painted homes giving the rainbow a run for its money, there are few people who have wandered past the Bo-Kaap and abstained from wanting to know more about it. However, beyond its picturebook layout, the Bo-Kaap is known for tantalising another one of the senses – the tastebuds.
Culturally and historically rich, the Bo-Kaap offers an authentic Cape culinary experience like no other, especially for those who love Cape Malay food.
In an exciting foodie experience, the Bo-Kaap is opening up its streets for an open-air dining experience at the end of June!
Taking nods from other incredible open-air dining experiences that started making headway recently from Bree Street to Sea Point, it’s now the Bo-Kaap’s turn to show off their finest in local food, arts and crafts and live performances.
