Following the remarkable transformation of Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, earlier this year, the city’s iconic hotel proudly introduces its latest addition – the Fairmont Spa at Cape Grace.
The brand-new spa offers a holistic approach to well-being blending serenity, playfulness and adventure with restorative natural elements, aromatics and treatments inspired by the majestic floral kingdom of the Western Cape.
Central to the spa’s story is the regenerative, cleansing vegetation native to the Fynbos region, which captures the essence of the Cape and leaves guests nourished by nature.

The legendary Cape Grace sits perfectly positioned between the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. The hotel’s new Fairmont Spa will embrace guests in the natural beauty of South Africa’s coastal riches, mountain ranges and floral kingdom.
Enchanting Fynbos aromas and scents, and healing properties from the sea, blend together in this city oasis to encourage deep internal connection to mind, body and spirit. Signature treatments, massages, skincare rituals, body treatments and a salt inhalation room add to the invigorating and restorative sensory experience.

Notable treatments include:
- Tranquillity: A full body massage with cupping therapy, warm mud and a facial massage
- Purity: A deeply cleansing facial with Gua Sha massage and facial steam
- Serenity: A comprehensive ‘top-to-toe experience featuring a body massage, aloe facial with oxygen therapy and hand and foot treatments
- Clarity: A luxurious experience for two with body exfoliation, a personalised massage and time to unwind in a private double treatment room, complete with a steam room and balcony
The expertly trained spa professionals and skilled practitioners curate individualised, restorative journeys for guests allowing for durable results and continued focus on well-being goals. Young visitors have their own Teens & Tweens Spa menu and Little Spa menu for those under 11, to kickstart healthy routines.

Spa manager Taryn Lilley notes that the Fairmont Spa opening will add another layer to the luxury guest experience.
‘We are incredibly excited about the opening of our newly designed Fairmont Spa. Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes, perfecting every detail of our new spa – from our upgraded treatment rooms to the exclusive new treatments and premium products now available.
‘We look forward to welcoming our guests back to enjoy these exciting updates, all while continuing to deliver the same exceptional service and care that we are known for.’

The Fairmont Spa is further complemented by local spa partners including Matsimela Home Spa, an authentic South African brand that started as a home-grown business using the Sotho word for ‘roots’ and inspired by a love for mother nature.
Other brands featured are Bellabaci International – leaders in modernised Cupping Massage Therapy, Esse Skincare, QMS Medicosmetics and Dermapen – microneedling experts. Hotel and spa guests also have access to the sauna, steam room, experience shower and double stream showers, as well as the Farimont Fit fitness centre.
