Watch out; you might return toting a few eclectic purchases you never would have made had it not been for the eccentric charm of the environment in which you found them.

Rondebosch Potters Market
The Rondebosch Potters Market is a twice-yearly ceramics market held in Rondebosch Park. You’ll find a diverse selection of ceramics, stoneware, and earthenware at reasonable prices. Because you are purchasing directly from the manufacturer, there is no middleman and thus no inflated retail prices.
If you aren’t already obsessed with pottery, this is the place to be – not to mention snagging a few great deals along the way, especially if you arrive early. The beauty of ceramics is that each item, whether perfect or imperfect, has its own story to tell, much like ourselves.

This weekend is better than any other to support local artisans and small businesses, and maybe even find some one-of-a-kind items you can’t find in traditional retail stores. If anything, they’ll serve as the perfect setting for a stroll and perhaps even a pancake or three.
